Advantages: CHEAP!!

Disadvantages: Rare occasional access gateway busy (just like 'the net')!

I've been an active One-tel user for some time now. If you are with BT and pay the standard line rental you are absolutely mad! Save yourself a fortune- There really is nothing to lose as One-tel only bill you for calls you make through them!
They have a fixed local and national rate which means that call costs anywhere in the country are the same low price.
Tip: Use One-tel's 0800 number- tell BT you want to join their "Light user scheme"!! and save, save, save. There are many service providers that offer similar 'routing' but I know of none this cheap. Forget the mobile calls though- this is where One-tel cut their losses- now they are expensive here.

One-tel also bill directly on the internet, and your unbilled calls can be assessed on the web.
With the exception of being 'ripped off' for mobile call costs, I have had no problems.
If you make international calls take a look at the rates and compare them. You could do a lot worse!
