Advantages: Nice edging, clean stylish logo

Disadvantages: Nasty movement on logo, horrible two-tone orange, snatchy site

I liked the simple logo style of the runner on this banner and the postage stamp edging. (I think I would have been happier if this edging had remained stationary rather than 'jinking' from time to time, though.)

The orange was just too horrid. Imagine facing that first thing in the morning, even if you DIDN'T have a hang-over the night before and two shades of orange?

The other problem is this is a two parter. Only half the time are people aware of the prize. Now a play station holds no fascination for me, but surely it is the very reason why the punter is being encouraged to sign up. The other half of the banner just said things like "sign up" and "enter name" which was most disconcerting. I, like many other Internet users, am very wary about dropping my name onto the Internet willy nilly, and I certainly don't want to do this on an advert where I do not really know what I am signing up for.

When I clicked on, I found one of those annoying 'grab' sites which tries to hold onto the link. That alone would make me wary, particularly as I had to click two or three times to get back off the site again.

No, this really didn't do it for me.
