Advantages: Not Headache inducing

Disadvantages: Dull

The purpose of banner ads is to draw people to the site in question. This Banner ad doesn't. It is dull and although it offers a prize for signing up, it isn't that good a prize (or particulary well aimed at the target market).

To be better this ad would need to be more eye catching, have a better description of what the site does and, if they are offering a prize, better targetted at a specific audience.

In its favour, it doesn't flash or use garish colours to atrach attention to itself (and give the viewer a migraine!), and there is a (very small) tag line to describe the site function.
