Advantages: The other more discrete banners are more effective

Disadvantages: It is very annoying to be forced to read something like this, when you are reading an unrelated opinion

Dear dooyoo,

Please oh please will you take those banners off. You know the ones I mean, the "sex in pregnancy" or "sex after pregnancy" ones. I am frankly a little tired of having to see that blasted in my face every time I go to read or rate someone's review. The other urbia.co.uk banners are fine; ones that just suggest the subjects on the site a little more discretely, such as: "lonely", or "bored with your partner" etc...

I don’t like having to scroll down every time I go to read a page, so as to avoid seeing the bright orange or green banner, and think it would be more sensible to include them only in a specific section of the site. I think the afore mentioned banners are perhaps more suitable for the section of the site that actually discusses opinions about pregnancy perhaps, but not everyone reading a review about movies for instance, wants to have to read a small snippet about someone having sex whilst pregnant.

Don't get me wrong, I think advice about this subject is very important, as not everyone has sufficient knowledge about this to know what is safe and what is not. However, I think that if the topic "Important Pregnancy Advice" was given, as a banner instead, for example, it would be much more effective - probably encouraging more people to click on it as a source of information about all aspects of pregnancy, as opposed to simply blasting "Sex, sex, sex" at us.
