Opticians in general:
... have bad eyesight. Astigmatism in both eyes, and short-sightedness - quite badly in one eye. I have an annoyingly thick glasses lens and have grown used to paying rather large optician s bills. The system to get glasses help in the UK is unfortunately set up rather badly. If you work with computers, and need glasses just to do so then your employer is obliged to pay for an eyetest and give you a voucher towards gl... Smoking in general ... am a non smoker but I was brought up in a world where, until the 1980 s, smoking was considered to be the "In Thing" to do. My parents were non smokers but most of my family did indeed smoke. At that time I had no opinion whatsoever on whether people should smoke or not. I can remember the times when, if you moved a picture on the wall, you could see the clean wallpaper underneath. This was surrounded by a grotty yellow coloured wallpaper. Then I did not realise that it was in fact cigarette smoke that had caused it. In this day and age things are completely different. The majority of people do not smoke and they are very aware of the dangers of both smokin... Read the full review: CLOUDS OF SMOKE by senga53 |

Non Insulin Dependent Diabetes ... have type 2 diabetes, personally I don t care if people say I am diabetic, living with diabetes or any of those other things, though some people do; they prefer not to be called diabetic and become defined by their condition. The main reason that I am writing this is just as a bit of knowledge for folks, and because another Dooyoo member had seen this review when I originally penned ity for another well known review site and suggested I post it here. So if you don t want to know or are not really interested, thats okay, stop reading now. Type 2 used to be called mature onset diabetes, it is sometimes called non-insulin dependent diabetes and there are a couple of ... Read the full review: Living with type 2 diabetes. by paulhanton |

My Experience of Hayfever ... suffer from hayfever from May to June July. To be more precise, it depends on the country. My hayfever is linked to the polleen of Graminacee (I think this is the Latin name, I am not sure how it is in English). It can be very bad in some parts of North Italy and France, particularly in May. With years it seem to be better. Basically around June in UK, and a bit earlier in Europe, I start suffering from it. I sneeze, my eyes are red, I some time wake up with my nose blocked and I have some mild bleeding from my nose when it is really bad. I take drugs, even basic ones from Boots do the job and things get better. When I go to a place near the sea, I suffer much less, e...
