... have been using tampax tampons, cardboard applicator, for 36 years now. Of course I have been totally happy, until they had to "improve" them. I will start with the paper wrapper. It is now bright yellow, almost orange. Great, if I lose it!!! The wrapper no long has the tear thread, so I rarely get it open in one try. Next, the cardboard applicator is now so hard to slide to insert, that I must slide it back and forth a couple of times, before trying to insert it. The new pinched in design does not help at all. Now about the tampon itself. It is so short, it has about an hours worth of absorbency, on heavy days. The skirt is a bit of help, I guess. ...
