Alberto VO5 Power Gel

I don't normally like to wear much product in my hair at all, I just shampoo, condition and go and much prefer the natural look (natural not a birds nest!) but I did want something to at least smooth my hair a bit when I went out so I was in Boots a few months ago and decided on the Vo5 Gel Wax with extreme style. It was only £2.99 for 75ml so how could you go wrong with that. This gel wax claims to shape like a wax and hold like a gel. After seeing the film Something about Mary, using hair gel seems to have a different meaning for me now. I have used Alberto V05 for quite a long time now and couldn't manage to do my hair without it. Anyone who hasn't seen the film mentioned above won't know what I'm talking about. I grew up in pain. Maybe not quite true, but a good enough start none the less. Basically as some of you may know, for years I did gymnastics competitions and dancing festivals, both of these requiring ridiculous getups and perfect hair. vo5 gel wax combines the hold of a gel without the crustiness and the shaping of wax without the geasiness to create the most extreme styles. I started using vo5 gel wax about 6 months ago. The reason i started using it is because i originally used brylcream and this quite often left white, dried, gel flakes in my hair. i decided to use gel wax because brylcream also left my hair dry, and i was told the wax in the gel left hair feeling moist throughout the day. vo5 gel wax smells delicious.
