I think that Avon is a great place to buy your make up from, its cheaper than some street brands and the quality of their products has increased greatly over the last few years. They are no longer some tacky catalogue.

I especially like the Avon eyeshadows, I have found that they stay on longer than some cheap brands around the same price that I have picked up in boots. My favourite eyeshaddow that I have bought from the Avon was the Colourtrend Multistick which I got for £3.50 but have noticed on the website recently is not £1.50, I think I will be stocking up on this one while it is on sale as it goes on your eyes non cakey and tidy and doesnt leave a mess on your face, and I can pop it into my handbag without the fear of loose powder crumbling all over the interier as it is a creme eyeshaddow.

I also like the eyeliners that Avon provides, I would be a fan of very dark eyeliner and because of this it can smudlge easily and just be a real nuisence if I dont buy the right one, though the Avon Glimmersticks Eyeliner has never disappointed me and is really cheap at just £5, which for me is worth it as it is good quality.

There is also a great range of perfumes availabe in the Avon, which are normally on offer or cheaper than in the shops, my favourite being Little Black Dress, which is an elegant lovely perfume that is in the Avon from time to time and comes in a lovely box with body lotion and is a great gift idea.

There is a great range of cosmetics on offer on the Avon including body lotion, show gels and shampoos, make ups, anti aging creams and many more, they normally can be picked up for a bargain on sales and promotions which can really be helpful during the credit crunch.

The only drawback from Avon cosmetics is that you cant just go to the shop and pick them up, you have to order them from your Avon rep or off the internet and wait for them to be delivered, sometimes you cant wait for that shade of eyeshaddow that matches your dress for a special occassion so you just have to go searching the shops.
