Advantages: Safer than traditional manipulation, Makes the spine more supple , Gets each vertebra working

Disadvantages: Not enough practitioners using it, Mainly in private practive, the armed forces and sports team, The advantages outweigh the disadvantages

I was privileged to be the first osteopath in the world to use power assisted micro-manipulation. This lady's comments reflect many patients about the way the spine can be changed and made more supple. Readers might like to log on to the patient website

This treatment is not in expensive in real terms as I have got patients off the operation waiting list and back to a normal life. As long as the problem is mechanical it can be fixed. This treatment should really be in hospitals as this is the route that most patients have to go.

Urge your own practitioners to investigate it, as if you are not getting the best treatment as this brings backcare into the 21st century. It is a safe non-invasive treatment for back problems such as whiplash, prolapsed discs, scoliosis, kyphosis and chronic back problems. It generally takes about 3-5 sessions to make the spine supple. If the spine does not respond, it is not usually a mechanical proble, or the de-generation may be too severe, but at least the patient finds out if he can be helped very quickly.
