I have always been relatively lucky when it comes to my skin, I have normal skin so every so often I get a blemish but it usually goes away quite quickly. However I did noticed a product by Biore which were strips that unclogged pores and left skin looking a lot healthier. I heard of Biore a good few years back but only friends of mine used them and said they were good but I never really felt the need to use them. It wasn’t until one day I was looking in the mirror and did notice that I had quite a lot of clogged up pores on my nose and though oh maybe I should give the product a try, I mean what harm could it do. Biore state that on a face there are 20,000 ... Read the complete review

I started using the Biore deep cleansing nose strips after seeing a commercial about them on TV. I had tried the Ponds nose strips and was not satisfied with the results I got from them. My first experience with the Biore nose strips was not all that pleasant. I read the 'how to use' section on the back of the box. 1. Wet nose really well 2. Apply Strip 3. Let Dry 4. Remove Strip Well now what could be easier? Everything went really well until . . . . I removed the strip - Ouch! It felt as if half the skin on my nose came off with the strip! I had NOT expected this. Needless to say I was ready to throw the rest ... Read the complete review

I tried the Biore strips when they first came out purely because they seemed to be one free in every magazine I picked up - and with the amount of magazines I read, I soon had quite a collection! My nose has it’s fair share of blackheads so after collecting about 20 of the strips, I decided to give them a go. Locking myself in the bathroom I carefully read the instructions and drenched my nose with water. I put one on, pressed it down lightly and waited for it to dry - it usually takes about 10 minutes and during that time you cannot laugh, smile or screw up your nose or else it sets in a funny shape on your nose (so I’ve heard). ... I have used a number of these types of products before, but without much success. They are packs of moistened tissues pre-soaked in a cleanser that promises to remove all makeup, even waterproof mascara, in one swoop. Very useful for when you’re in a rush or don’t want to pack a bottle of cleanser in your holiday luggage in case it oozes all over the place. Some I have tried left a nasty film of grease in my eyes, irritating them and making me look like I was on the edge of a complete nervous breakdown. I thought I would be safe with these as they are Ophthalmologist tested, hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic. (In case these terms have just whizzed ... Read the complete review

When you use these strips you are supposed to use them across your nose only. Basically you wash then wet your nose, open the strip and apply the strip smooth side dowb. leave for 10-15 minutes, then peel off to see what disgusting thingd have been pulled from your skin. It works, so much i felt ashamed! but it is abrasive, and if left on too long leaves a red mark. its tempting to use them elsewhere on the face, but you aren't supposed to . The aim is to 'clean clogged pores and blackheads', and it does, but its important to close the pores after, so the muck doesn't get back in. They are expensive, but were the first to come out with the idea. With ... Read the complete review
