Advantages: looks good

Disadvantages: can get infected, scars,

I can understand why people would want their body pierced, it look very cool and very trendy. However, do be careful when you decided to have any part of your body pierced, because you could just end up with scars or little holes in your body. I had my ears pierced when I was quite little, but when I was in my teen I felt the need to have three more holes in my ears. More recently I had my belly button pierced, it looked so good on other people who had it down, and wearing short tops in summer was an added bonus.

However, when I had a job interview it didn’t look that good even I took the studs out, you could see the little holes on my ears. Thank-fully I didn’t feel the need to have my eye brow or tongue pierced. So, this year I have close all my holes with the exception of one, you can’t tell that much I had some piercing done but there are little scars,

To anyone thinking of getting visible piercing done be careful most employees don’t like them, believe it or not a friend said it gives a bad impression of them as if you’re a ‘rebellion’. If you do have a piercing done, keep it clean the chance of infection will then be reduced quite a lot. It’s best to go to your local hairdressers, most of them do most body piercing, the chance of infection will be reduced further. And for some of you who can’t resist doing it yourself sterilise any pins, needles, studs before you pierce.

When I had my belly button pierced it was quite scary, try not to watch is all I can say. It does hurt for a week or so, but I would say it’s worth it. Just be careful you have it done professionally, if you do it by yourself you are risking serious injury.
Have fun with your piercing, look cool and be careful. Remember to keep it clean which can prevent infection and try not to touch your piercing.

i agree with what you said about potential employers not likinmg piercings. My suggestion is to get piercing done as soon as you start uni or college and then you can have at least three years of it before you have to let them close up. At least you get your moneys worth!
