Body piercing has gone to another level over the past few years, who would have thought that people would one day be getting their naval and other body parts pierced.

I certainly didn?t, I got my ears pierced when I was a baby, well one ear was pierced at least, Apparently I threw a temper tantrum after the first ear and would not let the lady near me after that.

After walking around with one earring for fifteen years I finally got the courage to get the other ear done. I don?t know why it took me so long to do; I guess I was afraid, after that horrible lady hurt me when I was little.

Two weeks later I went back to get yet another hole put in each of my ears. I had seen people with two earrings in each ear, and I thought that it looked really nice.

So now that I had faced my fear of piercing, there was no stopping me.

I have since got my navel pierced. I was a bit scared when I went to get it done but I went ahead with it anyway. The lady, who pierced my belly button, was very friendly and put me at ease straight away.

When it was over she told me that I would bleed for a while. I didn?t I never had any problems with it what so ever. I was very surprised when my friend had it done; she had problems with it from day one. When she decided to finally got to the doctors, he told her to take it out as it was infected. She has been left with a really nasty scar on her tummy now.

I also have my nipple pierced, and before you ask it was not done by choice.

One of my close friends wanted her belly button pierced, but she was so scared to do it. So silly me said that I would get my nipple pierced if she got her belly button done,
I was joking but she took me so seriously, and said she would do it. The next day we went to get our piercing done.

I was in two minds about doing it, but my friend looked so happy about getting her piercing. I could not back out.

le, and passed this little tube through it so she could get the ring in. I did not look down after that because I thought that I was going to pass out. And before you ask it hurt like hell, but I didn?t let on as my friend still needed to get hers done. There was no way that she was going to back out, after what I had just done for her.

For days after, my piercing still really hurt, I can not describe the pain but trust me it killed me. I know you must think I am silly for doing it, but I honestly thought that my friend would back out. I have since learnt my lesson and I will never say things, like that again. That?s for sure.

Two years down the line and I still have my nipple pierced, and it has only just healed
Properly. I love it now and so does my boy friend if you know what I mean.

If you ever decide to get a piercing, go to people who are qualified and trained to do it. As you may have difficulties with you?re piercing like my friend.

Check that their premises are clean and tidy, and they do the procedure correctly.
