Advantages: They look great, they are with you forever.

Disadvantages: They are painful and can cost quite a lot.

I think that body tattoos are great but I personally wouldn't want too many. When you get a tattoo you have to make sure that you definitely want one and think carefully of what you want as they are permanent. A lot of people get there girlfriend or boyfriends name tattooed on them, then a few years later they have split up so they have to pay to get it removed with laser treatment or have something printed over it. Other people have them as a memory of someone which I think is lovely as it will stay with you forever. Tattoos can vary in price depending what you want doing they can cost as little as 25pound to hundreds. Before they start your tattoo they will draw in pen an outline of what your tattoo will look like just to make sure it is in the correct position and is what you want. Some people have loads of tattoos they have them on there head, arms and covering most of there body this must cost them thousands of pounds

I have one tattoo on the bottom of my back it is of a rose with leaves around it, it cost 40pound when I had it done. I had my tattoo done when I was 18 years old as a present for my birthday from my brother. I have to admit it was so painful the outline of it which was in black was worse then the colouring in. When I had it done my mum came along with me and I have to admit I nearly fainted I don't know why I found it so painful my mum thought I was exaggerating the pain. When you're having your tattoo it feels like lots of needle pricks going into which I suppose it is. Nearly everyone I know has a tattoo now it is becoming more common now. A lot of people say the most painful places to have them are the bottom of your back, your ankle, wrist and the bottom of your foot.

I think in the next year or two I will get another tattoo done I am not sure what of yet but it won't be too big. I think some tattoos look great others look to over the top.

Summary: Overall I love body tattoos but wouldn't want to many.
