Tattoos are not so bad (Body Tattoos in general)

Advantages: The fact that they look great

I am 35,and I got my first Tattoo 3 months ago.I have never really been into tattoos untill lately,although I did always think they looked nice and I specially love tribal designs.I always thought too many tattoos on a female made them look butch,but a few small ones didn't look too bad.

I fell in love with foot tattoos,and for months,couldn't shake the urge that I would love one on my foot.But trying to find a design you like takes time,after all,once you got this tattoo done,it is there for life.So always be positive you are sure on the design.

After weeks of flicking through the internet,I finally found a nice Tribal flower design.Now was the time to pluck up the courage and make that appointment.I heard so many good and bad things about having a tattoo done.But I made that appointment anyway.

When I entered the shop,the first thing the tattoo artist said was... "You do know having a tattoo done on the foot,is one of the most painful areas". I liked his honesty,but at the back of my mind,I was feeling more then nervous.But still I went ahead.Sitting in the chair was somewhat daunting.He copied out the design I took on papar and started to draw it freehand on my foot.I liked it and now it was time to get this tattoo done.

He put some clear liquid on my foot and then it was time. He started to lightly drag the needle accross my foot.It didn't seem too bad.It felt abit like slight burning sensation,like a ciggerette being dragged accross my skin.I found the outline was more uncomfortable then the filling in.The filling in was not too bad atall.After the tattoo is done,they put what look's like white waxy substance on it and then they cover it with a bandage.I found it didn't cost alot atall and was very pleased with the result.

I have great respect for the artists,they are very good at their job.You need great patience,skill and very steady hands to make such great tattoos.

To those of you who are worried about how painful it is to have a tattoo done,then don't.It is not that bad atall,well I didn't think so personally.
