Advantages: refreshes, smells lovely, softenes my skin

Disadvantages: boring packaging

Normally I don't go for the plain packaged beauty stuff, but because I had heard so much about the Botanics range I thought I would give the Shower Gel a go, nothing to do with the free advantange points I was getting when I spent so much, oh no!!.
Just sheer curiousity.

All I know about Botanics is that the products are made from plant extracts and the range is increasing by the week.
I wanted to start by buying something nice smelling, I didn't want to smell of some unwanted weed or plant that made me think I was wearing "Eau de Tree".
Meadowsweet and Cucumber sounded rather "cool", geddit, Cucumber, cool, oh forget it.

The design of the pump action bottle is rather boring looking, just see-through and with a plain old green label stuck on. Ok for the minimalists types, but for me, I like a bit of colour and sparkle to my drab old bathroom.
I suppose the good side is, you can see how much you are using, you can watch it go down as you pump it out.
It's actually very easy to pump out of the bottle, it never gets clogged up and theres no need to ever dip the syphon into hot water to rinse either.
I must have used this shower gel loads of times, and it never goes down, I'm sure somebody is filling it up again whilst I'm asleep.

I apply this to a scrunchie as it goes further, it gently exfoliates my skin and gives even better results using a scrunchie. Using the scrunchie in a circular movement will also help your skin tone. The exfoliator bits aren't too harsh, they aren't massive lumps of grit which leave a mess in the bath either, I find it to be gentle to my skin, but am left feeling refreshed afterwards too.
The Meadowsweet ingredient revitalises my skin, whilst the cucumber leaves my skin feeling soothed and fresh.
The fragrance is very pleasant, a sweet smell and just a hint of cucumber, nothing what I expected.
Anybody with rough skin can use this, it
helps get rid of flaky bits and doesn't dry your skin too much in the process.
Apply a good body lotion afterwards for extra benefit.

This product is made for Boots and you should find it in most stores. The size is a good 250 ml and as I said earlier lasts ages.
It cost me £2.99, but was a good buy as I have used it on a regular basis.
You never know I might just buy something else.

You obviously have attracted the "Refill Fairies" into your home. May I borrow one please?
