I've found these work well & will buy the hair mask & items from the foot range but will stick to cheaper brands of shampoo & my favourite deodorant. I love the way Botanic products are packaged as they are not particularly seen as 'women's' products. they're unusual & stylish & whether it be a pot, a pump dispenser or bottle I've always found them easy to use & good value for mon...more

Premium Review Boots Botanics in general: from heads to feet (330 words)

I first started using the Botanics range of products when Boots had amazingly good offers & I've been very pleased with most of them & some I still buy on a regular basis. Well, I say 'buy' but I usually try to exchange them for my Advantage points. Items I regularly buy are the body gel, cleanser, body polish & cleansing wipes - I've found all these work well for me & cost a lot less than similar products which have an extortionate price tag. Other products I've bought from this range have been hair -related including shampoos & hair mask but I've also tried deodorant & some items from the footcare range. I've found these ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A big thumbs up (400 words)

Full marks go to Boots for their botanics range. I was lucky enough to be given a couple of bottles for free so that's how I first got into it. What I liked first about the range was the packaging. It is very simple and neutral without being dull. Perfect for macho men who won't be seen near a fussy bottle. For this reason I decided to donate the shampoo to my other half to try. It was the one for 'normal' hair (even better to pacify his male ego) and it smelt of coconuts - nice and genderless! Well, he loved it and came out raving that it smelt of holidays! Needless to say, I got a bit jealous. I ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Boots Botanics in general: Lovely salon smelling shampo! - Disappointing update! (275 words)

Don't you just love that shampoo they use in the salons that always reminds you of holidays? It smells great and usually costs a fortune, right? Boots Botanics range of haircare products has an absolutely gorgeous shampoo. It's the volumising one that I love which boasts 'sweet almond to boost volume and apple to reduce static' giving 'life to flat fine hair'. I bought it purely because it smelled so scrummy, though it seems to do as it promises...so far anyway. My hair is very fine, I have an 8 month old baby and lost alot of hair round the hairline. My hair was in awful condition after the birth and I was ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Botanics Hair wax is the best yet. (239 words)

Boots have recently re-vamped their botanics range of hair and body items. I have to say that the new look product is by far and a way the best yet. The launch released shampoos, conditioners, toners etc, but for some reason there was a delay in releasing the hair wax. I had been using the old botanics hair wax (in the dark green tub) for several years as it is soft (thus easy to apply), non -stciky or greasy looking and smells fab. The competitors such as brylcream and shockwaves both produce hair waxes that are too hard and when applied tend to clog, causing consternation at 6.30 in the morning (even though I do have very short hair anyway). ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Boots Botanics in general: Botanics hairsprary too sticky (148 words)

Boots Botanics range is a well designed range which covers most haircare needs. The packaging is appealing to the buyer as the colours are earthy greens giving the appearance of eco-friendly. I tried the mousse some time ago and was very disappointed by the stickiness of the product. My hair became quite stiff. The following morning I could still feel the stiffness in my hair. I stopped using it after a few times and threw it away. Last week I purchased Boots Botanics hairspray and I must say that once again I am disappointed. The hairspray is a little heavy although certainly acceptable. My problem has been the can itself. When sprayed, the can leaks ...  Read the complete review
