Advantages: Lease hair tangle free, Leave In
Disadvantages: Needs extra help in the sun
When working in Cyprus during the summer months I tested out numerous leave in hair products. These are the best type of conditioner if you have to subject your hair to six months of sum and work well when combined with an intensive conditioner too. This was my favourite by the end of last summer. The Botanics Leave In Conditioner seems to be part of an increasing range under the Botanics heading that use plant extracts. You will often find extra reward points available on this product. The conditioner itself consists of wheatgerm extract and fennel seed. Unlike many leave in conditioners, it is a spritz which makes it much easier to apply evenly throughout the hair. There are no sticky residues left in one part of the hair. After washing your hair and towel drying it, all you have to do is spray it into your hair. Having fshoulder length hair, I have found a few sprays is all that is needed followed by a quick comb with a wide tooth comb. Afterwards your hair is reasonably soft and free of tangles. It also leaves your hair as bright and shiny as a wash out conditioner would. There is none of the dullness that you often associate with leave in products. Even now, that I am home in the UK I am still using this product and find my hair is in excellent condition. It is sufficient without the twice weekly intensive treatments in this country. At about £3 per pump action spray bottle, it is a good buy. It tends to last about four months when used three times per week

- 25/02/02 Last week I bought some Botanics products because of the advantage card points. I spent about £56 on Boots No7 make-up and Charles Worthington and Botanics products. I then got a massive £22 back in points. |
