Calendula - for babies bottom too!! (Calendula)

Advantages: natural healing, seems to work fast too

I first purchased Calendula cream whilst I was breastfeeding, as I had sore, cracked nipples and I had been advised it would aid with the healing. (If you use for nipples whilst breastfeeding, don't forget to sponge off cream before feeding junior, he/she might get a shock otherwise, although I don't think it can harm them I don't think it tastes too good!!). I gave up breastfeeding after three weeks and stopped using the Calendula cream once my nipples healed up. So it sat on my shelf for weeks, months....

Then one day in desperation I remembered I had this cream. My baby had a very sore bottom which had been bleeding, sudacrem seemed to inflame it and nothing else I had tryed were much better. This bottom was so sore we are talking sleepless nights here!! Something needed doing. Like I said I remembered this cream and as it was natural I thought I would apply a little amount to see how it went. Within a couple of days of using it, Calendula cream suceeded where all else failed, my baby was happy and contented again as he no longer had a bottom too sore to even sit on!!

I would thoroughly recomend this cream. I personally bought Boots own make, it was fairly inexpensive, though I have forgotten the exact price to be honest. For the sake of a happy baby though I would have payed more!! It also healed my sore, cracked nipples a treat too, so an all round good cream I would say.
