Collection 2000 in generalNewest Review: ... and I didn't find it good for the price, it was ok. I forgot all my makeup and in a hurry bought a few things from collection 2000, expecting it to be nasty, but just to tide me over... They have great cheap powders for pale people! It's not noticeable at all and covers really well! I am so happy with this! I haven't worn powders before (couldn't find one to match my skin) this doesn't seem to last for ages, BUT it's so easy and cheap to reapply, that it doesn't matter! I'm now going to try lots of their other stuff! I have the liquid tube of concealer (pretty good) the 3 in one powder (the best!) the concealer stick (looks like a l... more |

Wonderful! Best for pale skin that I have found! Including expensive makes. I am writing this because I'd been looking for concealer/powder for pale skin for AGES. I even tried babydoll, endorsed by the pale girl out of girls aloud, and I didn't find it good for the price, it was ok. I have always loved make-up and since an early age I would beg my mum to let me play with her lip sticks and glosses, nail polishes and powders. For the most part, she wouldn't let me as I was so young, but sometimes she would relent and paint, say, 3 out of my 10 fingernails! I remember thinking that this was really cool! :-o My love affair with cosmetics has a tendency to drive my poor (long-suffering) other half up the wall. I have, at present, 12 bottles of assorted nail polishes and varnishes sitting just to the side of my PC screen, for example, so you can imagine the state of play with bottles and potions and creams in the bathroom!? He does love ... Read the complete review

*+* THE ORIGIONS ON MY LOVE *+* My relationship with the brand started back in school with my battle to wear make-up against the wishes of the teachers. Make up was forbidden and that just made it more desirable. Collection 2000 presented me with a gorgeous trio eye shadow which although a set of pale peachy/gold colours had a really pretty shimmer to it (well a girl can never have to much glitter) It came in a rectangle box with a window in the front and came with its own applicator. This teamed with mascara seemed to float along un-noticed but looked nice, plus put a smile on my face at getting away with it. Back then I could only get collection 2000 in ... It was only today while writing some reviews of other products that I peeked into my make up bag and realised that all my basic products were Collection 2000. It seems I can't get enough of this brand! I've always been loyal to the brand because I was a student for quite a while and the cheap prices appealed to me, but on closer reflection I came to realise that a lot of the products were better than mor eexpensive brands and heres why! My first and most important piece from collection 2000 is the pressed powder, I am really really pale and I have discovered that Collection 2000 do a powder far paler than any other brand and that shade is called ivory. I'm ... Read the complete review

Alot of peoples immediate reaction to this brand is that its not of good quality as its so cheap, however, the products i have tried have all proved to be of superior quality and I think this brand is fantastic. Many of the products are almost identical to those of a higher price, for example, their little pots of dazzle dust (which i love) are dramatically cheaper than Barry M's more expensive equivalent and are just as good, plus you get more. Sometimes I even find that their product range is better than some, the recent mineral make up craze (which i really recomend - check out my bare escentuals review) has made all the big brands bring out their own ...
