Advantages: no specs to clean

Disadvantages: expensive and need to be very hygienic

Although my prescription has changed very little, these tiny miracles of technology seem to change with every new supply. This latest batch is the thinnest ever, hardly thicker than clingfilm, and to my surprise the centre is now a pale shade of blue, to help me find them in the morning I guess. They are extremely comfortable, indeed there have been days I have slipped on my spectacles forgetting I still had my lenses in. The cost, from Dollond and Aitchison is £25 per month for a pair of lenses and a bottle of cleaning fluid. Not cheap, but convenient. I would, however, be very interested to know if anyone had bought lenses by mail order or off the internet. Please post a commentary below, or another opinion if you have.
