Dax in general ... that the tin is lying and that more is better and use a dollop. Using too much just wrecks your hair, again making it look greasy, and being impossible to remove without a sander later. Wash your hair through before use and allow it to dry or towel dry the hair. Take a tint amount of DAX (if its too little you can add more in a minute, if it’s too much then you can’t remove it) and rub it between your palms and fingers. Now run your palms through your hair and kind of massage it into the hair, I concentrate a little extra on the fringe but that's down to your style c... Other Dax ... have had my hair cut short this summer and was introduced to dax short and neat light by my hairdresser. It is such a great product and isnt sticky or clumpy at all. It really gives my hair a shine and calms down any frizz or split ends. The one hint I would give with it though is that if you don't normally wash your hair everyday you would need to. Dax in general ... spent too much cash on crappy little "super mega strong hold" waxes and shit like that that just didn't live up too it's name. I would recommend this too anyone who goes for a "spiky" hairstyle no matter what the length, my hair used to be about seven to eight inches high when I put DAX in it and would stay that way until I made a concerted effort to do something about it. The ingredients are all natural so I wouldn't worry about damaging your hair {like you care}, Punks and skaters of all ages will make good use of this stuff {it's good for starting off dreadlocks too.} ...
