Advantages: no hairs, cheap, quick

Disadvantages: none

If God created a world when women had no hair in unwanted places the world would be a much happier place as there would be no pain from waxing and no cuts from razors. This is not the case.....

There are so many different types of hair removal these days but yet lots of women still stick to conveintional shaving, and why should'nt they.

The razors if bought as disposable, are very cheap but can only be used once or twice if they you are lucky. Razors can also be bought with swapable blades so you just pay for the blade which is a good idea because you then don't have to keep buying the whole razor. Then there are lady shavers which are electric. They either run on the mains or on battery. You can buy wet or dry or both ones so you can use them in or out of the shower. There are many advantages of razors as they are relatively cheap but you have to keep buying them apart from an electric shaver, but there are many problems with electric ones as they often miss the hairs that you are trying to remove and someone with extreme patience is required to use one of these machines as they are constantly missing hairs. Razors don't hurt to use and are a simple but not long lasting solution to those unwanted hairy areas of most womens bodies. Hairs grow back in what seems like a matter of minutes and they are thick and very stubley. Cutting yourself with this knifes on a stick is hard not to do and dots womens legs like a constant plague.

There is an alternative to shaving that is also not painful and dosent cause cuts and nicks. This is hair removal cream. A product for the women who have momey to burn. A tube of this stuff can cost up to £6. It takes about 5 minutes to work and can cause a big mess. It dosent cause cuts but comes with its own health warning that if left on for too long all your skin will be burnt off your leg. It also makes the hairs grow back thinner so they are less noticeable. The hairs grow back less quic
kly than shaving also but not much. So what other alternative is there?

Waxing, most would say that this is not for the faint hearted but is more expensive than hair remmoval cream. If done well, hairs will not grow back for weeks which is great if you aren't the sort of person with time to shave or burn the hairs off your legs. The one problem with this is that it hurts... Yes it hurts. So what else is there. Is there really a miracle hair remover and I know most people think no apart from having them permently removed by £300 a leg laser treatment.

The answer is YES. Its an depilator that pulls the hairs out your legs. Sounds horrible I know but it really is not as bad as it sounds. For about £30 you can have your own personal one that you can use anytime and will last for about 10 years so in the long run it is cheap than shaving, waxing and hair removal cream. It does hurt the 1st time but after that it really dosent hurt at all and the hair don't grow back for up to 3 weeks although mine grow back in 5 days. They grow back finner so they are less noticable and you don't need to be a pro to use it. It is just simply plug it in and press up against the skin and move. So simple and effective but something that so few women use. Maybe they are scared, I don't know but the sound is something pretty scarey and enough to put me off for a while. It is cheap, impossible to cut yourself as the tweezers on them are blunt, the hairs take ages to grow back and they are so easy to use and most of all IT IS PAIN FREE (after a few go's)

Go on what are you waiting for? At least try it out and see if you like it or you will never know!!!!!!

Was about to give you a VU until I read that bit about the epilator - I tried to persevere with mine but ended up in tears of frustration and pain each time - waxing is almost pleasurable compared to these monsters!! Still, maybe they've improved a bit in the last couple of years. I also found I had to go over the same patch of skin about 5 times to remove all the hairs?! Sorry about the rant.

Good op. My experience is just the opposite, I've used a depilator for years but it always hurt (and I _hate_ the noise), so I tried waxing and found it much less painful.

Heaven knows why most ratings for this op, so far, are from men! Sound advice. I'm a waxer myself.
