Advantages: No more shaving/waxing!

Disadvantages: Costly - treatments start from approx £200 for half leg each treatment

I got really fed up of shaving my legs and underarms everyday and had hear increasing numbers of reports about using laser for permanent hair removal so thought I'd give it a go.

The processes is really easy and practically painless (a lot less painful than waxing). Basically all that happens is the laser nurse scans the laser over the area to be treated which sends a current down each hair shaft destroying the root. You normally need about 4 - 8 treatments on each area as the hair grows in different cycles and you need to leave 1 month between each treatment and keep the treatment area out of sunlight.

I've now on my 5th treatment and will probably need another 2 or 3 before I am finished but it will certainly be worth it not to have the bother of every having to shave or wax my legs again!!

Laser treatement for permanent hair removal is becoming more popular by the day. Our local radio station was advertising the aculite system at a nearby beauty salon. I called them to enquire how much my Bikini Line would cost........£360!!!! This is only for 6 sessions and you can't just pay it up - you have to pay upfront!! Needless to say, I'm gonna shop around.
