Advantages: NO MUSTACHE
Disadvantages: TOO MUCH PAIN
On an infrequent visit to my beautician to remove a few hair follicles from my chin and I mean few by electrolysis, she recommends getting my upper lip done. I laugh because I don’t have hairs on my upper lip, to that she replies (magnifying glass in hand which enlarges everything 10 million times) of course you do. No pain she assures me. Great, carry on I say. Well I can only describe it as sticking my upper lip into a vat of boiling fat (now I know how chips feel) She tells me sure there’s no pain at all, it will be over shortly. The hours tick by (I exaggerate slightly) and there we have it. A flipping sore upper lip. Coronation Street comes to mind. Do you remember her who was married to the taxi driver, wooden leg? Yes? (Don Brennan) Well very similar look. On top I aped Mike Jagger, on bottom though I would have needed collagen implants. Actually that’s not a bad idea the jabbing with the needle would be cheaper. By the next day normality had returned and I thought bravely I could do that again, but the pain lingers in a part of my brain still. So no not to be repeated. Comparing it to bikini waxing, I say yank off all my bodily hair, or the dentist, rip out all my teeth. It’s great to come to a decision so easily. Happy Days.
