I have used various shaving cremes/gels for my legs and have had differing results. Most seem to sting my legs and bring more of those little red spots up - guess I must have sensitive skin when it comes to shaving stuff. So I tried expensive to cheap including makes such as Gillette, Boots own, Sainsbury's but the one that has come up ... Read the complete review

Legs in my opinion always look so much better if they've been waxed . In winter us ladies can get away with shaving and those little red bumps because most of us are in tights or trousers . Well there's no hiding now it's summer and little red shaving bumps aren't at all attractive and neither are hairy legs . Recently at ... Read the complete review

On an infrequent visit to my beautician to remove a few hair follicles from my chin and I mean few by electrolysis, she recommends getting my upper lip done. I laugh because I don’t have hairs on my upper lip, to that she replies (magnifying glass in hand which enlarges everything 10 million times) of course you do. No pain she ... I bought it in rose and peppermint and you can also get a lemmon one. You have to wait for your hairs to grow a fair bit, but its worth it. All you do is warm up the sugaring stuff, wack some ... If you want a really close shave AND smooth, soft skin without razor rash, use oil instead of expensive shaving creams/gels. A little really goes a long, long way and you can go over missed patches without constantly reapplying. I started of using ordinary baby oil but now I buy a big bottle of grapeseed oil (nice and light) and add a few ... Read the complete review

Waxing - the great long-lasting method of depilation - is it worth the pain? I probably should admit up front that I'm an ex-waxer... I used to do it regularly but gave up, not because of the pain, but because my leg hairs started ingrowing <ugh> Apparently this can happen if you're a regular waxer because waxing ...
