For those of us fortunate enough to suffer from dry and sensitive skin!!! There can be nothing more difficult than finding a moisturiser that actually works without causing any further irritation. E45 lotion manufactured by Crookes Healthcare Ltd does just that!! It is Hypo Allergenic, unperfumed and non-greasy, and Dermatologically tested. What more could you want?! Oh yeh, it is only about £4 for a 200ml bottle. This liquid wonder (I admit it, I’m enthusiastic!!) can be used all over body including your face and hands. To apply, simply squirt (a great word!!) to the area concerned and gently massage into the skin. As a sufferer of ... Read the complete review

Crookes Healthcare: is aiming to become the UK’s number one seller of Over The Counter (OTC) medicines, currently they are third. Sir William Crooke and his son Henry founded Crookes Healthcare in 1912. However in 1971 the Company was sold to the chemist giant Boot’s, and is now part of Boots Healthcare International. Crookes Healthcare has fourteen household brands under its belt but the most famous are probably: Nurofen (Pain relief); Strepsils (Sore throat relief); Clerasil (spot relief); Optrex (sore eye relief); and E45 creams and lotions. E45 is a subtle blend of ingredients that have been dermatologically tested, and is ... Read the complete review

I'm a big fan of E45 lotion and cream. I have a big pump dispenser in the bathroom and use it as a general body lotion and face moisturiser. It's also useful to slap on the kids if they have any dry patches, it's hypo allergenic so you know they won't react to it, in fact when I was a nurse we used it in hospital for patients who had had skin grafts to keep the new skin soft and supple. It's also not perfumed which suits me, because I like to smell of the perfume I'm wearing without 2 or 3 other perfumes wafting around as well. I reckon a large bottle of lotion lasts us more than 6 months and costs around 7 pounds, which I think is good value. ... Read the complete review

Well, for once I think I’ve chosen a topic to write about which won’t take me two days to finish, and 2 hours for you to read my 2000 words. I’ve chosen to write about this one because I really do think it deserves some recognition. You can call me a girl if you like because I know a lot of men would laugh if they found out I used it, but I don’t really care. I actually find it quite useful. Everyone wants softer skin right? God….I’m turnin’ fem!! Well, this stuff will grant you that wish (pretty much anyway). One of the great thing about it is that it’s recommended for all over body use. Not ... Read the complete review

When you are out flaunting yourself on the beaches and in the pools of your holiday destinations this year, remember that day protection is only half of the key to a successful tan once you are home. How often have you come out of the sun during the day and felt itchy? You ignore it and just feel it is tightness from the day of toiling on the sand. You need to use an after sun to replace the moisture lost during the day. Otherwise that glorious tan you spent so much money to achieve will flake off 2 days after your return. I have applied aftersun now for about 15 years, even during days in our British sun and think I must have tried most of the brands. ... Read the complete review
