Advantages: sooths, softens and moisturises skin
Disadvantages: Can be a bit expensive
As the weather gets more frosty our skin seems to suffer too, my daughter has very sensative skin and in the frosty months I buy her E45 to use.
E45 can be bought in various forms, cream, lotion, bathwash or lipbalm.
I would recommend any of these products if you suffer from dry or chapped skin.
Also in the summer months if you get caught out in the sun too long, using the cream or lotion will ease the hotness of sunburn.
Each product is unmistakable in it's packaging a white tub, bottle or tube with dark blue writting saying E45 can be easily recognised on the shelfs of the shops.
The cream can be bought at most supermarkets or chemist and will set you back around 2.45 for a tub, this can be rubbed into the skin and it will ease away the pain of chapped skin, flakey skin or redness of the face due to the cold weather.
It is suitable for sensative skin and is PH balanced.
The lotion is also for dry or chapped and flaking skin, this is a gentle liquid which has no perfume added and can be rubbed onto the sore to skin to ease the complaint. This will set you back at around 2.50 a bottle and can also be bought in the chemist or supermarkets and I have even found it in Superdrug and Bodycare shops.
The bathwash is a bit more expensive and will cost you around 2.80 a bottle, this is great stuff and the white liquid, which is also perfumeless and PH balanced, smooths and softens your skin. I buy this all year round as it makes my skin soft and silky.
It moisturises too, so you don't leave the bath all wrinkley after a long soak.
I also buy the lipbalm for my daughter every year it gets frosty and if we don't have a good stock of this lipbalm, her lips get dry and cracked, which being a teenager is very important to stop this happening.
A little tube of this which is the size of a lipstick will cost 1.45 cheaper in some other shops, depending where you buy it.

ag or schoolbag for easy access and can be applied quickly and easily. It protects the sensative skin of the lips, smoothing them and making them supple.
I really rate E45 products and as they have lots of different products, it's easy to find one to suit your needs.
