Family Planning ClinicsNewest Review: ... very bored looking women. I'm not saying that they were horrible, they just looked bored as there were no other "clients", and when I went in, they got all excited and all wanted to help! This was lovely, as I'd been turned away from a doctors surgery earlier in the day "because I'd arrived too late and the surgery shut at 10.30" (this was at 10.15!), and I was ... more |

I went to a family planning clinic after an unfortunate "accident" one friday this summer. I was in the middle of my Uni exams, and it was running up to a bank holiday weekend. Not the best timing for these little mis-haps really. So, my only option was to get up early on Saturday morning and get myself to a family planning clinic. I'd never been before, and I was a bit apprehensive, but needs-must, and I toddled along. The clinic I went to was in a little back street, and looked very down-key, in other words, I didn't feel like I had a big sign on my head saying "hey everyone I had sex last night and that's why I'm ... Family planning centres are dotted all over the place so it`s quite difficult to understand why there are so many unwanted pregnancies around. If you pop into any one you can get impartial advice on contraception, pregnancy, abortion, and other family planning related topics. Here is my version of what you are likely to be informed about when discussing contraception. Keep your knickers on and cross your legs! I reckon that`s the only sure fire way of not getting pregnant. Teenagers are too quick at jumping into bed and worrying about the consequences after these days. Mind you, it`s most probably been like that ever since sex was discovered. Let`s ... Read the complete review

“Now come on, dave27, you know it’s only a quick snip, you’ll never feel a thing and then there’s no more messing about with condoms for you, my lad, you know it makes sense – you’ll be in and out in an hour you big baby.” Sounds so bloody simple don’t it, Mrs D, you heartless brute and you’re willing to take away my manhood just like that you heartless cur… DOES THIS STRIKE ANY CHORDS WITH YOU, gentlemen out there, because I’m sure it should, because in these days of oh so very liberalised females, IT’S UP TO YOU TO TAKE PRECAUTIONS and why don’t you give me a bloody orgasm, ... My main reason for visiting the family planning clinic, I must admit was for the free condoms. I have been with my boyfriend for approximately 7 months now and we were finding condoms to be very expensive! A number of my friends mentioned that they simply sign up down the family planning clinic, so we decided to give it a try. My boyfriend was already signed up from many years before, so we both went down so I could sign up. The lady at the desk was very helpful and asked me to fill out a form, in which you place your address and details and it is as simple as that. They took us out to a room individually and they give approxamitely 14 condoms to each person. I ... Read the complete review

Its not just women who are treated well and looked after at the local Family Planning Association Clinic - men are most welcome too - although they're very rarely seen. I first enrolled as a 'patient' about 10 years ago when I married my wife. We had discussed barrier contraception as being the best method for us - and so I decided to enroll rather than my wife. I've had a brilliant service from them. Had no worries about talking about any problems, and I'm certainly very impressed with the range of condoms that are made available - and the quantity! All in all, I would seriously recommend any man to swallow their pride ... Read the complete review
