Recently my hair and I have not been the best of friends. It has more than a little to do with the abuse it took at the hands of a demented amateur colourist who thought she was Nicky Clarke (that's me folks!) which has left it looking very dry and not its usual shiny self. I have really fine hair so I've never had a problem with frizz but since the colouring incidents suddenly my hair is out of control (not in a mad, bad and dangerous to know sort of way, chance would be a fine thing with hair as fine as mine, more just static and misbehaving all the time.) I'd seen John Frieda's Frizz Ease range and heard loads about it, but never ... Read the complete review

I have properly curly hair. No perming (despite everyone thinking otherwise). It’s right untamable. My dad used to call me Medusa when I was little it’s that bad. When I travel around southern Europe, I never get spoken to in English, people assume I’m Greek or Italian. A friend of mine undertaking hair research on afro hair even suggested that mine would be one worth trying. Right, so I’ve set the scene. My hair is frizzy, so, when Frizz Ease came out some years ago, I thought “wow, answer to all my prayers.” The first product (and most copied) was the serum. On the side of the bottle were pictures of before (which disturbingly looked like me the ... Read the complete review

I was unlucky enough to be born with naturally curly hair and have longed for a miracle to get rid of the frizz. I often wake up with my hair shooting in every direction and have to wash it to get anywhere. A few months ago I came across Frizz Ease. In the past I had known about it but refused to believe it would do anything for me so I stuck to my cheaper shampoo. “Frizz Ease products seriously address the problems related to frizzy, dry, permed or colour-treated hair, much in the same way cosmetic companies address dry skin… prescriptively and step-by-step. We designed Frizz-Ease products first and foremost to smooth, replace suppleness, control ... Read the complete review

These days my hair is short and relatively manageable but in years gone by I had long hair, which I often had permed. As the perm grew out it the whole thing used to get progressively more and more frizzy until I looked like an explosion in a mattress factory - hence the title of this opinion! That is until I discovered Frizz Ease by John Frieda. At first I thought that this would be a bit of a con. You know the sort of product I mean, where it promises perfection and struggles to deliver mediocrity. It was advertised as the product to use on heat-treated, permed or coloured hair to bring back manageability, hold and shine. Anyway I ... Read the complete review

I buy these products from the John Freidas range all the time for my husband as his hair goes all frizzy and looks like the Hair bear Bunch (remember them). I buy the frizz ease shampoo, but his favourite is the Glistening Creme. My husband, has very long hair and ties it back in a ponytail. Tying it back can make his hair sometimes all knotted and tangled. he also has frizzy hair on the top of his scalp. I buy him all the Frizz Ease range and find they do the trick. The glistening creme is lovely, you just apply a little bit to your fingertips then smooth it over the frizzy bits of hair. Make sure that before you apply it, that your ...
