Despite other opinions in this category ststing the bad points of the Gilette Deodorants and antiperspirants, I am a big believer in this brand and product. Firstly, lets think about the main requirements of a Antiperspirant. Its supposed to keep you dry. Check. Its supposed to smell nice and hide any odours. Check. Its supposed to be kind to your skin and not irritate due to its location. Check. Its supposed to be reasonably priced. Check. So where on earth do people find a problem with it? Yes that’s right, should you attempt to use this deodorant, you’ll require a gas mask! I never actually bought this deodorant; it was actually out of one of the hundreds of thousands of deodorant/shower gel or deodorant/after-shave sets that I and everybody else seem to get during the Christmas period and had been lying in my cupboard for around 8 months or so, so I decided to give it a try and see what it’s quality was like. The first time I used this stuff I was quite impressed, I liked the smell (Wild Rain which I think is the best)and it kept me nice and ant-perperised all day. The scent was around all now which is a sign of the quality of the stuff. However, the next morning when I tried using it again nothing happened. Well I though this is good I got a huge big bottle of Gillette and can't use it. I read down the small print and was pleased to see a helpful little thing saying that if it don't work hold the button under water for a while till it clears. Well five minuted later and no improvement. So I have resort to pushing and proding it with a knife until eventually ...
