Although this range comes in three different aromas, my favourite is the 'Cool Wave' variety, which I currently own. Its smell is pleasant yet quite light, and definitely not overpowering. In terms of its effectiveness, I can't complain about the Gillette Roll- on series. I play a lot of active sport, especially squash - which can be rather sweaty, and this range of deodorant leaves me feeli...more

Premium Review Gillette Series Antiperspirants in general: Excellent Series of Roll-ons (231 words)

This review relates primarily to the Gillette 'Triple Protection' roll-on series of deodorants for men, which I currently use. Costing £2.19 from Boots, the product uses the revolving ball application system and is 50ml in quantity. It seems to last a fairly long time, and I can get roughly a months worth of daily use before it runs out. The product is grey plastic in design and fits comfortably in the hand when using it. It has a cap which screws on, which helps to prevent any leakage which may occur. Although this range comes in three different aromas, my favourite is the 'Cool Wave' variety, which I currently own. Premium Review The best a man can get (486 words)

Despite other opinions in this category ststing the bad points of the Gilette Deodorants and antiperspirants, I am a big believer in this brand and product. Firstly, lets think about the main requirements of a Antiperspirant. Its supposed to keep you dry. Check. Its supposed to smell nice and hide any odours. Check. Its supposed to be kind to your skin and not irritate due to its location. Check. Its supposed to be reasonably priced. Check. So where on earth do people find a problem with it? Personally, its always my first choice in the supermarket. Can. Comes in a cool Grey can with a plastic rigid applicator. A nice ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Gillette Series Antiperspirants in general: HAVE YOUR GAS MASKS READY FOR THIS! (643 words)

Yes that’s right, should you attempt to use this deodorant, you’ll require a gas mask! I never actually bought this deodorant; it was actually out of one of the hundreds of thousands of deodorant/shower gel or deodorant/after-shave sets that I and everybody else seem to get during the Christmas period and had been lying in my cupboard for around 8 months or so, so I decided to give it a try and see what it’s quality was like. I myself am not too fussy on any strong smelling deodorants; I’d much prefer the milder smelling ones like “Addictions”, etc, and I just can’t stand deodorants that over-power you or make ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Don't buy this under any circumstances! (328 words)

The first time I used this stuff I was quite impressed, I liked the smell (Wild Rain which I think is the best)and it kept me nice and ant-perperised all day. The scent was around all now which is a sign of the quality of the stuff. However, the next morning when I tried using it again nothing happened. Well I though this is good I got a huge big bottle of Gillette and can't use it. I read down the small print and was pleased to see a helpful little thing saying that if it don't work hold the button under water for a while till it clears. Well five minuted later and no improvement. So I have resort to pushing and proding it with a knife until eventually ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Gillette Series Antiperspirants in general: A different view it seems! (173 words)

At the time of writing this there are two other reviews of these products both of which appear none too impressed by them. Must be a body chemistry thing 'cos I regularly use Gillette's 'Artic Ice' spray anti-perspirant and I think it's ace! I do tend to perspire heavily at times and I often struggle to find an anti-perspirant that can keep me comfortable during the day. This is tops though, and one of only two or three that I find helpful to me. If I had a choice, admittedly I wouldn't use sprays as I find them inconvenient to other members of my household and inevitably some of the spray always misses you anyway! However, this has a ...  Read the complete review
