Advantages: Keeps you fresh, Works all day
Disadvantages: Big clouds of spray
Despite other opinions in this category ststing the bad points of the Gilette Deodorants and antiperspirants, I am a big believer in this brand and product.
Firstly, lets think about the main requirements of a Antiperspirant.
Its supposed to keep you dry. Check.
Its supposed to smell nice and hide any odours. Check.
Its supposed to be kind to your skin and not irritate due to its location. Check.
Its supposed to be reasonably priced. Check.
So where on earth do people find a problem with it?
Personally, its always my first choice in the supermarket.
Can.
Comes in a cool Grey can with a plastic rigid applicator. A nice big thumb button means there are no fiddly pressings required. You cant miss this button even with the biggest of hands. The actual lid that seems to get disgarded as soon as you buy it is made from a clear plastic which does not stay on too well. Maybe a drawback with the design.
Fragrance.
Very fresh and very manly. However, its not over manly. My wife sometimes borrows it when she is out of her spray and likes the smell. I think it leaves you smelling clean and ready for action at work.
Application.
Ok, this is where some poeple might find it offensive. Use in a well ventilated room. When it leaves the can in a huge white cloud, it goes EVERYWHERE. Not a very accurate dispenser here. While some of the white powder attaches itself to your armpit, the rest floats in space to settle on your chest. Not good for asthmatics like me!
However, the resulting coverage leaves you with a slightly white residue in the desired location. This is not sticky like underarm roll-ons though. Instead it is dry and crisp. I do find that in a fresh can you sometimes get bits stuck to your hairs which can be a pain to wash off.
Working?
It sure does. It will leave you smelling fresh and fighting sweat all day long. No worries about ponging late in the day. I can take my shirt off
at night and still smell like the daisies outside!
It seems to keep the sweat at bay very well too. I never feel damp and this again lasts all day.
Irritation?
None whatsoever. As I already said in other opinions, I have quite sensitive skin and am limited to what I can use. Gilette seems to be one product that is kind to my skin.
Pricing.
Hmm, not the cheapest at £3 a can but im sure you will agree it is one of the best working.
Overall.
Dont know what the knockers are going on about. It is simply one of the kinest around.
