 ... does affect me without warning though, just to keep my life interesting. I could wake up tomorrow not being able to walk, or not being able to use my wrist. There is no explanation for these bleeding episodes ( I call them bleeds, IE bleed in my ankle, bleed in my arm ). They just happen from time to time and I have to get over them like every other. I doubt you've ever wonderd what life would be like with haemophilia, but I'm going to try and let you into some of the ways it makes life that little bit more interesting. To start off with how about a bit of background on me, I have severe haemophilia A ( there is A and B ). Now I'm not saying severe to get a sympathy vote here, that just means that my factor 8 levels ( the thing missing in my blood ) is less than 1% of what it should be. There are other types such as moderate and mild, each with an increasing amount of factor 8, something like 5% and 25% I think. That is besides the point however.
