Advantages: Smells good and does the job
Disadvantages: The Price
I have been trying to find a shampoo that smells nice and makes my hair feel soft, smooth and silky. I have fine hair which can be a right problem with some shampoo’s. I need one that makes my hair soft but not so much so that I am unable to style it properly and it goes all limp and lifeless. The story behind how I found this lovely product was when I stayed at my Mother-in-laws house for the weekend and I forgot my own normal run of the mill shampoo. I was in the bath when the slender light blue bottle caught my eye. I had never heard of the product name before and apparently after further questioning, the bottle was purchased direct from the hairdressers. Now the price is a bit steep at £7.50 for a 300ml bottle but below I will try and justify the luxury of this product. Imagine tropical islands, warm sands, sunny skies and peace and quiet, this is what you get whilst taking in the aroma of the shampoo. Its bouquet is a cross between coconut with a little extra hint of something extra like the malibu drink. Once you have recovered from that exhilarating perfume we can now start the washing of one’s hair. Now as I mentioned earlier, this is expensive stuff and due to the high quality of the shampoo very little is needed. I have fairly short hair and roughly use the amount the size of a two pence piece. The shampoo is not a thick consistency like some shampoo’s but enough to feel silky smooth on your fingertips and the colour is clear white if you know what I mean by that. After you have applied very little to your hair you will notice that it lathers up immediately. It feels so soft on your hair and when washed off it leaves it squeaky clean. Since I have used this product I have not needed any kind of conditioner as this seems to be enough. This is what Lanza say about their product:- They call it a creamy coconut based cleanser which carries nutrients and proteins deep into the hair s
haft. Lather in repair and strengths to replace and balance vital protein and moisture ratio in damage and over stressed hair. (see I told you it relaxed me!!) Earth friendly, cruelty free and no animal testing. It would appear that you can only buy this product at a salon recommended by them. I went into their web page www.lanzahair.com to find out more about their products. If you are interested in finding out more about them the web site offers good information on what product would best suit your needs and also provides a store locator. In the product I have it contains:- Cocamidopropyl Betaine – Which is a coconut derived shampoo which helps to restore damaged hair. 100% active Jojoba Biotin – Which replaces the scalps natural acid and finally a Keratin Bond system that strengthens the hair. Well I hope I convinced you that sometimes you do get what you pay for. I will update my opinion when the bottle is finally finished just to let you know how long it lasts. My mother-in-law says that hers usually lasts three months, so work that out against your usual brand and I would not think the price difference is much now. May I now finish off by saying thankyou to Bunty for buying this little luxury as a birthday present for me, it is well and truly hidden in the back of the cupboard away from the rest of the family. I know I should share but I just cannot do it. SORRY.
