Advantages: smells great, it works, incredibly cheap

Disadvantages: none

I have a confession; I am a hair care snob. I am such a snob, that I will not use two in one shampoo and conditioner, and I even turn my nose up at perfectly good shampoo like Organics and Pantene! I tend to use Aveda shampoo and conditioner, but I am now on an economy drive!

This is hell! I have to go to the supermarket to buy the products! Laugh at me if you will but I want nothing but the best, softest, silkiest, shiniest hair! I don?t bother about watching my weight (although maybe I should! Lol) as I prefer to look after one thing, and that is my hair!

As I looked up and down the shelf in Tesco I decided that I would buy the Organics good hair day range of shampoo and conditioner. This was great! It left me just as I like all soft and lovely! But it was still a little bit too expensive to buy so often. I then went when there was an offer on Timotei where you got the conditioner free, so I went for that. I never thought I could be so pleased with a shampoo! I used every single flavour (if that?s what you call it) and was just as pleased with all of them! But when the offer went off, I was done for!

This month was Christmas and about three peoples birthdays. It was time for REAL economy drive! So I went to Tesco and when nobody was looking I knocked in the Wheatgerm and Cornsilk Conditioner. This was only 69 pence!!! I couldn?t bring myself to buy the shampoo as well, so I stuck with Timotei.

This morning I used the conditioner for the first time?

WOW!! This is a marvellous conditioner! It smells lovely! It is pleasant but not overpowering! It gives a wonderful whoosh of yummy smell in your shower, and lathers up massively! Maybe I should use less than I normally do in this case, but the results had been so great, why should I bother! Now you will remember that I said this was only 69 pence. It is from a range of shampoos and conditioners (500ml) that cost only 69 pence. Next week I will be buying the shampoo as
well I think!

Tesco say: ?Tesco Wheatgerm and Cornsilk conditioner is gentle enough to use every day and has been specially formulated with natural extracts to help leave your hair feeling soft, healthy and manageable? and they aren?t lying!

Now as with all things like this, you must avoid contact with you eyes! I did get it in my eyes a bit this morning and it was not very pleasant!! If you do, wash it out with lukewarm water!

Tesco do not test their products or ingredients on animals, so you can use this with no fear that you are harming the little fluffy animals!
You can visit the Tesco website for further information about the range (as I rushed past it so fast!! Lol) at www.tesco.co.uk

So as a summary, this 69 pence for 500ml of conditioner is one of the best products I have used! And this is coming from a big self-confessed snob like me! I will use this product again, and I will try out more from the same range! So if you are a hair snob (self confessed or otherwise) try this shampoo because it really is great!

p.s it is for normal hair.

***FOOT NOTE***
When I looked in the other supermarkets (I won?t name them but there are three of them) there was no other shampoo/conditioner anywhere near as inexpensive! Just a tip!

Thank you for your op. I also take pride in my hair and am always trying out new things to improve it. I'll certainly be picking up a bottle next time we're shopping. (I wonder if they do them in tesco express?) Also, you may want to try superdrug all naturals shampoos and conditioners (I use coconut oil for normal hair) which are also very good (I have long, straightish, thick hair prone to what I refer to as 'fuzz'). Hope you find it as good as I do. abi xxx

I've used Tesco's Menthol shampoo and think it's great. Price and quality aren't always the same thing. Interesting op.

A bargain! I tend to be more of a hair slut - what whatever is knocking around, on offer or looks good gets in the basket. Hence rather manky hair!
