Advantages: The Worlds your friend

Disadvantages: the morning after

There is only one thing worse than suffering from a hangover and that is if someone else in the family has one.

With three young adults in the house who are all of age to drink but luckily dont very often it is worse when they get one.

Who has not heard the words "aw Mum, I am dying, never again Mum".

Okay I admit sometimes my patience is thin if they wake up with one so the best thing is to stop it before it gets that far.

The best cure we have found is to drink some milk before you actually go out. This is supposed to line the stomach so that you do not feel sick or get the hangover. It does work.

If you drink water that is supposed to work as well but the milk is better.

Do not take asprins which at the moment is the "cure" being spread around. This is downright dangerous.

Also make sure that you have something to eat.

There are two other things to do that can help and that is if you are going to drink never mix grain and grape. If you do you sure will be hungover. Stick to one or the other type of drink.

The other? Dont drink alcohol in the beginning. But that is too obvious isnt it

Also, eating pasta before going out helps as it is great at absorbing the alcohol. Dark drinks give you a worse hangover (eg. red wine, dark rum etc) pale ones are better. Happy Drinking! ;)

Drink lots of water is good advice though.
