Advantages: Hilarious!, Some people dont suffer!
Disadvantages: Headaches, Puke, Uurrghh in general
OK ok so maybe i'm rather underage to know what i'm talking about here....but if my little tips help all you oldies out there (heehee couldnt resist) then you can swallow any words you have at this point in my op! At the next-morning point when me and all my mates begin to stir and sit up (i might aswell explain now, my parents wouldn't take too well to the drunken me, so when arranging a 'p*** up' we always find someones older sister, or babysit for an older friend, basically the kind that doesnt care what you do aslong as you clear up. Then we spend the night. Not always a good choice, but my parents never guess why sometimes i turn up bedraggled at 9am, when my usual wake up point is 11am!). So anyway..when were all lyin on a floor somewhere looking sleepily and moaning at eachother, im always the first to up and make the coffee ! My Tips : * This one may not work for you personally but for me and anyone i recommended it too its doing its job well.... CHEESE! i can't usually stand the stuff, but having cheese on toast, a cheese toastie, or being generally gross and nibbling on a piece of cheese is enough to hold back the vomit. I usually have mine just before leaving my own home to wherever the partys at! * So if the cheese thing doesnt go for you, you must know that you have to eat a full meal, everyone knows that !! For some reason i stay away from carrots, i can't explain that one! *Dont mix your drinks, something im extremely incapable of. Being young and experimental is one of our problems, too well known to pile up what we've got and mix away. Dont do that! Not only does it waste the drink if you mix up a gross one it makes things heavier. *If a friend has gone too far (which is usually the case) whether they are paraletic (That would be my mate Michelle) or just vomitting alot (and thats Maxine) hold a jar of coffee under their nose and let them breath it in
. Have a bucket/bowl at the ready, but this usually helps to wake them up, especially at the stage where drinking coffee is NOT gonna help! *In the middle of full-blown drunkenness!! Do NOT stop at any take away places! That is the worst possible thing! *If you are emptying your stomach just let it be! If you feel that you need to, go straight outside, as soon as the air hits you your stomach will empty, leaving you much better off. *Know when to stop! I know my limits very well, personally when the room starts to sway and i can hear myself talking but cant control what im saying, that is when i stop alcohol consumption! These are the only things i can remember to stop or delay hangovers! However if you do wake up to one, i recommend that if your not home you get home!! Having a shower usually helps, if this will make you dizzy as is sometimes the case then have a bath. Then go to bed and stay there!! At the last new year i got extremely drunk and then stayed awake, in total it had been over 39 hours since i slept, at which point my body started to shake violently of its own accord dont let yourself get this far, it isnt nice, or comfortable! The ultimate head-clearer for girls is to get right on the phone! If you've had your sleep or dont even need it either call someone who did not get drunk last night and ask them what you did!! Or if you remember, then get on the phone to someone who wasnt there and TELL them what you did!! For some reason no matter how drunk i get i can remember the night before! But if you cant i really do think you should find out what happened even if you dont want to know! Some of my friends marvel at the things they have done! They arent always good either...but dont let that bother you!! Just HAVE FUN! (Thanks for readin hope that wasnt too immature for you!!)

- 30/01/03 Funny review but no help whatsoever! Cheese???!!! The only cures for a hangover are lots of sleep and lots of cold water. You'll still feel shitty for a while (there is no CURE for a hangover) but not as long as you would have without them. Trust me, i'm an expert! |
