Update at end of opinion ,showing my relief from Fibromyalgia. No its not in your imagination Ken . I thought I would add some Data on Magnets, and their power to *heal*,there are so many things on this planet to assist us to have better health. All animate and inanimate matter has a magnetic field round it ,well we cant see it but there is reason to believe it exists. You only have to watch iron filings drawn into movement by a magnet havnt you. Also the law of particle physics shows us opposites attract and like ones repel, goodness that even happens with people doesnt it,i suppose all this keeps things in balance. When I had one session of acupunture one of the needles got very hot, because there was a build up of energy that needed to be corrected. I also had another treatment and the needle wouldnt come out for a while ,and I bled rather a lot when it did ,the Hom Doctor I studied under (home study course said you shouldnt have accupunture near a full moon ,magnetism again. If we hadnt interfered with our natural environment we wouldnt need any treatments but we live in a network of electromagnetism that encircles the globe ,even radio waves Roger Coghill world authority on electromagnetism tells us in His books on the subject. So Magnets correct any artificial field that has been put there by man ,and allows the body ,*to regulate its cleansing system, dealing with unwanted by-products*..this remark represents my studies since 1968!!! So our body is the healer*Magnets just assist. I did use 2 magnets for a while, and the spasms I was suffering down mt spine have improved ,unfortunately I wore my magnets while shopping and they attached themselves to something metaalic without me realizing most annoying.this is the only snag I can think of .update:Nov 2002.I have since obtained some more and I now attache them to a light scarf and keep them in my pocket ,these magne
ts consist of 2 small discs that that hold magnetically either side of clothing. If my cats are in pain or off colour i just put the scarf near them for an hour and they soon buck up.Or your can sit them on the magnet.. accept I think you should have a rest from this therapy from time to time ,to stop having a healing crisis (throwing out toxins to s everly. You will probably find you are sleeping better too. These Electr omagnetic fields caused by man can disrupt the bodies cell repair ,and blood cleansing system ,and deposits build up and cause pain ,the naturopaths call it cell cinders . Taking silica and Nat sulph a couple of times a week help to get rid of cell debris too. Have a rest from your magnets now and again ,they will work better. to be cont... Update: Roger Coghill explains in His book :*The book of Magnet healing *that it is the components in our blood that carries magnetic charge round the body ,He says on page 78.that apart from carrying oxygen around the body red blood cells are negatively charged ,and repelled by the walls of the arteries and the veins also negativly charged and the this *repulsive force aids the passage of the blood,to flow through the body,He says that a static magnetic field ,as produced by a magnet will improve blood flow . Impurities in the blood are positively charged usually so you can begin to see why magnets help with improvment with pain and spasm. People that smoke, introduce copper into their body so will have spasm and tension. Air pollution also puts too many positive ions in the air so we suffer symptoms ,from these. Proof that these magnets are scientific in there action ,is, that if you attache one to near your fuel tank ,it unsilts your fuel and makes it go further,so magnets are money saving too. I have worn a copper bracelet, and used magnets, from my experience magnets ,need to be applied for a little while each day and y
ou can lay on them at night you will find you sleep like a baby. I also found putting my feet on 2 magnetic discs first thing in the morning gave me energy. So many things give us energy drain ,use of the phone ,Tv.Radio....all take their toll on us elecromagnetically, even Our computer!! So using magnets helps to get rid of this energy drain. Beware of to much water divining :)Im not sure about that sidneegee :) I would like to me ntion that I use the word Healing in a very relative sense, because as one of Jehovahs witnesses ,I look forward to a time in the future when Jesus will truly heal us all see Revelation chapter 22. in the meantime we can do the best with natural things to achieve a better state of health. Roger Coghill also is Author of book: *Electro Pollution*,and *Something in the Air*,there are some very good tips in these books for better health. I am going to purchase some more magnets soon. The proof of these health aids very evident. see Roger William Coghill on the net. Update: Well after severe pain from Fibromyalgia in my arm,it was so bad I wanted to die. This went on for a whole month ,then I remembered the Magnets, (produced by Electro magnetic Products Ltd.phone number:01495752122,) Fax:0870 706 0168.Website:http//www.maglab.co.uk so sent for some more, within 2 hours of using them I was pain free obviously the condition is going to take a while to go ,but with continued daily use when I feel the need for them, the pain is barely there I am free of it most of the time ,and only get a little after stress or excercise. Update Nov 2002:I had 2 bad falls last week because a grassy bank in the garden is waterlogged ,this fall affected my back and head it brought my arm pain back but the pain soon went after an hour or so applying the magnet to pain site .As said before I tie a scarf round with magnets joined either side . They are so mag
netic they hold . If I overuse my arm I also use magnets . If you live near electropollution like a railway you would find them helpful. Or you might find as I have that you have a high field within your house ,the above address has many products to help with this including special curtaining,to keep electropollution out ,I can tell you it does work.
Electromagnetic energy exists around all thing, including us. We generate little fields of energy that in turn will interact with the earth's own electric and magnetic fields. When we experience illness or injury, the patterns of energy around the body change. I would suggest that any healing force dealing with auras may well in fact be a way of interacting with these fields. Interacting with fields outside the body does seem to help and encourage the healing process. It can help to reduce pain and tension, and such intervensions can also encourage the body to heal itself. It has been suggested that the presence of iron in the blood makes magnets effective. I am sure that there is some effect here, but suspect that magnets are in fact ways of affecting your bodies electromagnetic fields. Traditionally, magnets are worn as part of pieces of jewlery and palced over key areas of the body - most normally the wrist unless there is a specific point of injury. My paternal grandmother used to favour this technique and it gave her some relief from arthritic pains. Wearing a magnet does seem to help, however, you might want to try a more active approach. ake the magnet in your hand (or ask a trusted person to help you if you cannot reach teh part of your body in need of aid.) Move the magent over the affected area, holding it an inch or so away from the skin. Circular movements are best. Try to build up a pattern of movement and go with anything that seems natural to you. The results ca be surprising. I will add that the magnet is not actually vital and that you may well be able to get similar effects using your hands - certainly when working on someone else. You have fields of your own and can use them to interact with an affect other people's fields. The feasibility of doing this depends entirely on your sensitivity, but if you can feel paterns of energy around a person's body (probably manifesting as small force
s that encourage you to move your hands in circular patterns) then you can do this. All you have to do is allow yourself to move with the circles created by the other person's fields. if there is a point of unwellness, it will manifest in some sort of break or change in the rhythm. if you keep going over that spot, you will find that the rhythm starts to settle and that the recepient will feel benefits from this. If you do not produce particularly strong filds yourself, then introducing a magnet into the exersize may well improve your chances of healing. It is well worth trying to do this on your own. My resources for this are largely personal and derive from the knowledge gained during Tai Chi lessons. Anyone wanting to know more should read up on Chigung (spellings vary, that's the phonetic version.)
About five years ago, at the tender age of 44 years, I began to be very bothered by constant stiffness and nagging pains in my hands, and also the whole of my right arm. I ignored this for about two years, but when it got to the stage of beginning to interfere with one of my main passions in life, namely my golf, then it was time to do something about it. A visit to the family doctor revealed the not too optimistic diagnosis that I was suffering from "a touch of arthritis", and that not a lot could be done to alleviate my malady. Naturally enough,I was none too happy with this prognosis. Some relief was obtained by a daily intake of Cod Liver Oil capsules, which are known for their effectiveness in joint inflammation, and this is a regime I keep up to this day. However, the real "breakthrough" came when I spotted the Professional at my golf club sporting a rather nifty new bracelet. On further enquiry, it transpired that it was one of the "new" magnetic bracelets, which were said to be highly effective in treating joint stiffness and arthritis. Never having been a great believer in homeopathic or alternative medicine, I was, to say the least, somewhat sceptical. But as my Golf Pro swore on everything he held Holy (I think he was talking about old John Barleycorn here) I decided to give it a try. Bingo, eureka, halleujah, and all other manner of exclamations. It actually worked !!! Within ten days all lingering stiffness and pain in my hands had gone. I still had a bit of an ache in my upper right arm, but got some small "stick on" magnets, which wern't long in dispelling this also. As to why it works, well, your guess is as good as mine. I've read all the promotional blurge about the magnets invigorating the blood flow, and so on, but in all honesty, I just don't know. What I do know is the pain has gone. Maybe, as I said in my title for this opinion, it's my imagination, and
it is helping me because I BELIEVE it is going to help me. But as I was so sceptical about the process in the first instance, and didn't expect it to do me any good, then this argument hardly holds water. By the way, it's not expensive; I think I paid about £15 for the bracelet in the local chemist, and about £20 for the "stick on" magnets in the herbalists. If this review describes you, then why not "taste it and see". Ken J
Joint injuries tend to linger because joints do not get much blood flow. The way to increase the rate of healing anywhere in the body is to increase the blood flow in that area, and that's what magnets seem to do. Red blood cells have lots of iron in them and iron is, of course, magnetic. I think magnetic therapy will only work noticably on areas with little normal blood flow, like ligaments and tendons, but will not work so well on muscles. Of course, ultrasound works wonders on deep muscle injuries. Again, it warms the muscles and increases blood flow.
A friend told me she had found this marvellous product that took away all the aches and pains from which she had been suffering. She was so impressed that she became a distributor of them. I was suffering from an old injury that gave me dreadful back ache, so she lent me one for the back. The pain went away. Impressed, I bought a bracelet. I suddenly found that I was sleeping better, had more energy and the aches didn't come back. There are several different styles to suit your pocket and taste & they come with a 90 day money back guarantee which means you have absolutely nothing to lose by trying one. Whats even better is that they are also available for your furry friends if they have an injury or are feeling their age. Have you ever wondered if those magnetic bracelets that you see advertised really work? One did for me. For nearly two years I had an area of hard, slightly raised skin on my ring finger. It was about 5mm in Dia. and had formed a scab on the surface. Though not painful, it was unattractive and I was unable to wear my wedding ring I had been to my GP who reassured me that it was not malignant. He treated it by freezing the area and sent me on my way. Several weeks passed with no improvement. I then bought a magnetic bracelet on my sister's recommendation. (She has worn one for years for her poor blood circulation.) Six weeks later the area had completly healed without trace. So if you have been considering using one, I say go ahead and try, it may very well work for you.
