... Superdrug often have on low price or special offer and can generally be bought for under six pounds. The dye does not drip either so there's less mess than usual. On the down side it doesnt smell to great and it requires a good amount of rinsing. The conditioning product is a bit disappointing and you may want to use a leave in conditoner when youve just used the product. The colour also stains if you have a white bath, you may need to get the bleach out or it'll look like you've re-enacted Psycho. The shade...more

I tried Clairol Hydrience in shade Island Spice (Medium Mahogany Brown). I chose a reddish shade to boost the colour of my hair and blend in the grey. The first thing that I noticed about this product was the smell. I suffer from the odd bout of asthman and my chest felt rather tight. I had to open the bathroom window and put the fan on. the dye went on well and did not drip. I left it on for the max 45 mins so that the grey would be properly covered. When it came to rinsing it came off well but I was not impressed by the after-conditioner. It left my hair feeling very sticky and took ...
