... scented. I love bath and boday stuff and when my hubby suprised me with a goegeous gift collection I was thrilled. The products came from Cookies and Cream - www.cookiesandcream.co.uk. They sell candles, bath bombs, soap etc. The bath bombs are bigger, less scent and better value for money. I am now addicted to the candles and foaming bath products, its just sheer luxury!...more

***UPDATED WITH NEW PRODUCTS*** ******A Lush Romance****** One of the first things I noticed when I joined Dooyoo just two months ago was that so many members seem to have a love affair with Lush bath and shower products. Having read lots of great opinions on this company and its products, I decided to take the plunge and shell out some of my hard-earned cash on a cache of Lush, and see if I would fall in love too. Now, most women know that shopping is a sensual experience...especially if you are shopping for pampering paraphernalia. So, rather than jumping right in and getting some on the first date, I took my time. For several ...  Read the complete review

After finding a Lush shop whilst out on a shopping trip the other day, I ended up purchasing quite a few bath ballistics. The bath ballistic's were the first things to get a good looking at in the shop, being a bath lover anything which bubbles, floats, scents or spices up my bath time is ok with me. The range of these ballistic's was huge, to buy all of them at once would put a hole into your bank account, but at 1.75 each for that little pampering or that special present for a friend, it's quite reasonable. Especially when you know everthing is natural ingredients. There were lots of new bath ballistic's too as Lush had just had a ...  Read the complete review

I am going to write a Lush review and it is not going to be a big glowing full of praise review. Yes shock horror I have found a Lush product that did not live up to my expectations. This product is one of Lush?s legends the exfoliating bar of soap loaded with coconut that is I Should Coco. For all those Supergrass fans it quite is fitting that I tried I Should Coco as the last one I tried and reviewed was Red Rooster. (For non Supergrass fans their first album was also called I Should Coco which had a song called Man Sized Rooster on it) I Should Coco was on my list of Lush products to buy . (For those of you who do not know Lush is a shop that sells creative ...  Read the complete review

By now I'm sure many of you will already know that through Dooyoo I have been converted to a Lush addict like so many others. For any of you who don't know, (and I'm sure there can't be many), Lush produce a wide variety of toiletries etc which are all handmade and made using only natural ingredients. Most, if not all, Lush products are suitable for use by vegetarians and many are also suitable for use by vegans. I first read about the I Should Coco Soap Bar in a review by fellow Lush addict KarenUK who swears by it, so when I was recently browsing around my local Lush Shop eyeing up all the lovely fragrant goodies trying to decide ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lush bath & shower products in general: Keeping Creamy In The Bathroom and Hard In The Kitchen... (1957 words)

I am a big fan of Lush products, especially their soaps. To date, I have tried four of them and thought I would compare them. I have already written a detailed opinion on Banana Moon and I will soon be writing one on Sea Vegetable soap, so this one will concentrate on the two I haven’t yet written about – Red Rooster and I Should Coco – with a comparison of the four at the end. LUSH RED ROOSTER SOAP I first became introduced to this soap when my good friend, Kathryn (who I met here on Dooyoo) sent me a bar for my birthday. Then last month, when I was spending my Ciao ‘wages’ at the Lush website, I fancied buying a few ...  Read the complete review
