Want to share my Lush secret to beautiful hair (Lush in general)

Advantages: Gives you beautiful conditioned hair , smells great, gets you noticed *blush*

Disadvantages: Has a shelf life of 3 month, not readily available - if you don't have a store near you then you'll have to go via the internet.(

I requested this product as I feel I should share it with everyone. Its soooo good and smells great(more about that soon)

Firstly I thought I should tell you why I bought it.

I use a hairdryer at least once a day and some-times twice if I am having a really bad hair day (I suffer a lot with these) and my hairdryer decided it was time to teach me a lesson!!

I was starting to look like I’d been pulled through a hedge backwards!

Not a pretty site by any means and some drastic action needed to be taken and fast – I didn’t want to start looking like Worzel Gummidge’s ugly sister!

I am lucky enough to have a Lush store in my town center – I only discovered it a short while ago and I am now a true addict – I spend far to much money there but its sooo worth it and I know a few people who would agree with me on this one (Moose and danradders).

So off I popped into town with son in tow and hair in mess!!

I love the smell of the shop – its so wowserish.

Upon entering the shop I was asked by a very helpful assistant if I needed any help. Usually I like to just browse for a while, sniffing everything in sight and putting everything my son has pulled off the shelves back in there rightful place – but today I really needed advice and as usual, the staff really know what there talking about. I told the assistant of my problem (like she hadn’t noticed already) and she had a sly look at my rather unattractive and poor excuse for hair and took me over to the conditioning section which also happens to be the shampoo section. She had another sly look and advised me to get a deep conditioning conditioner which was to be used weekly rather than daily.

She suggested H’SUAN WEN HUA. (try to pronounce that one if you can)

Price wise its not the cheapest on the market but I decided I was worth. It cost me £4.50 for a 225g tub. So
off we went – straight home so as not to attract to much attention to my sorry locks.

When I opened the tub I was instantly hit by the lovely aroma of what reminds me of toasted teacakes or hot cross buns (I couldn't make my mind up on that one) – I read the contents and sure enough it contained cinnamon, well cinnamon leaf oil to be exact. It also contains fresh watercress wax, Italian balsamic vinegar, fresh banana and avocado and that’s just to name but a few – sounds like a fruit salad doesn’t it,lol.

All the ingredients are fresh and natural so as with all Lush products it has a use by date –this product has a shelf life of 3 months. This may not sound like long enough to use the product up but, I’ve had mine for 6 weeks and I’m passed the half way mark so I’m sure you’ll manage to finish the tub before the best before date! I have shoulder length hair so it will last longer if you have short hair and not so long for you long haired people out there.

It’s sort of an murky beige colour and has a really thick consistancy. It comes in a white tub with the Lush logo and the name of the product – nothing fancy.

BUT DOES IT WORK I HEAR YOU CRY!!!

YES!!! It works very well indeed – I went from looking like a scarecrow to looking my usual shiny-haired self. I use it twice a week at the moment but once I’m satisfied my hair is back to my usual standard then I’ll use it once a week. Its very easy to use – just put a big dollop onto dry hair and massage in - leave for 20mins. Wash your hair with your regular shampoo and style as normal – I didn’t find the need to use my regular conditioner after shampooing but if you feel you must then go for it!!

You will be left with shiny tangle free hair that looks and smells great – I had a few comments on the fragrance of this conditioner and they were all
good. My other half thought I smelt good enough to eat (typical, always thinking of what he can scoff next,lol). The smell lingers for ages - I would say at least 24 hours! This is fine if you don't mind smelling like a hot cross bun. I don't mind at all - I think I made a few tummy's rumble,lol.

I am lucky enough to have a Lush store near me but if you don’t then fear not!!
