Advantages: Lovely scent, softening properties, good value

Disadvantages: none at all

For some people the thought of talc conjures up images of little old ladies, slippers, hand knitted cardigans and lace doilies with ornaments on, so wasnt sure what to make of Lush's dusting powder. I had been intrigued by the tubs whilst in the store one day and once I took a sniff of Silky Underwear knew I had to have it. It features one of my most favourite scents, jasmine.

The product comes in a black cardboard tube, plastic lid, which turns to use product (so far tradional talc images) and cost £5.86 for 100g.

What is different about this product over your tradional talc is the inclusion a tiny bits of cocoa butter, which soften the skin. I love this product after a shower (particularly goes well with Skinny Dip Butter Cream or Flying Fox shower gel), and dust generously, gently smoothing over the skin to delicately perfume it leave it wonderfully soft.

As with most talcs, it can be messy on your carpet, but even with the cocoa butter cleans up easily, as I say its not huge chunks, just tiny particals.

At first I thought £5.86 was rather pricey for not a large tub, but it did last for about 3 months and I was using it regularly. I have since purchased another tub, as don't want to be without it, and think it would be an excellent item to take on holiday with me to keep my perfumed, moisutirised and cool

Summary: Not just for grannies!

I had a tub of this for Christmas a couple of years ago and just stuffed it in a drawer, I will have to dig it out and give it a whirl :-0 x

This might be too perfumed for me as I use baby talc, Susan

I thought Lush were mad a few weeks ago after reading a review on here but this has confirmed it beyond doubt. they are absolutely potty.
