Ah, Lush. Known and loved by millions (well, maybe not that many, but it ought to be.) Like most I was drawn into Lush by the smell which drifted across the street, and entranced by the bath ballistics, and - it looks like cheese! - soap. For a while that was all I considered buying, vaguely registering the unassuming black pots stacked in the corner. It's only since Lush opened in my home town - O happy day - that I've looked more closely at the skincare range. Lush produce a wide variety of toiletries etc which are all handmade and are made using only natural ingredients. I am slowly making my way through the bath products and have fallen in love with many along the way but one of my favourite products is the Lush Creamy Candy Bubble Bar. I was therefore pleased to learn that Lush have recently introduced a new soap called Rockstar which is fragranced using exactly the same vanilla perfume as the Creamy Candy Bubble Bar. Having read about the new Rockstar soap on the Lush website I couldn't wait to get my mitts of a slice so at the earliest possible opportunity I took myself off to the Southampton Store ...

Who says cruelty-free comes at a price? Lush is a high street cosmetics shop with a difference. First of all, their products are all vegetarian, with most of it being vegan, and full of yummy natural, organic ingredients. The products are not tested on animals too. The good thing about Lush is that they don't pretend to be entirely natural, or exclusively organic or vegan. They're like a Body Shop that actually walks its talk, but much much better! We have a Lush in Edinburgh and you can smell it’s wonderful aroma halfway along the street. The smell in a Lush shop can be overpowering at first. The soaps aren’t packaged, you can have ...
