Advantages: so many wonderful cruelty free products.
Disadvantages: Can be pricey and not everyone has a shop nearby
Lush is a completely natural range of products that are all suitable for vegetarians and are in a class of their own. The philosophy behind the products means not only banning animal testing but not buying ingredients from any company associated with animal testing. The company started as cosmetics to go and initially made products for the Body Shop but now handmakes a hugely indulgent product range from it's base in Poole. My favourites include Bare Naked Lady(honest) which is a dusting powder that has tiny gold sparkles that are excellant for a special night out(or in!).Priced at £3.95 for 85g it has to be reserved for more special occasions but is an instant pick me up. Silky Underwear is also a dusting powder that is £3.95 for 100g and is scented of jasmine .It makes skin feel silky soft and smooth and lasts all day. Pink Caroline is one of my faves(hint if you read this dear husband)priced at £15.50 it is IDEAL for a special valentines gift(sorry -hint to aforementioned husband again).Inside the heart shaped pink rose scented ballistic bath bomb is a paradise of indulgence.A tisty tosty heart shaped bomb containing seven tiny rosebuds(how romantic),almaer soap and amandopondo bubble bar make this a really special gift to recieve. These are so popular sometimes they are out of stock and so need pre-ordering instore. Fizzy o therapy is a ballistic bath bomb perfect for relieving muscular aches and pains .It contains essential oils such as ginger, cinnamon and coriander, priced at £1.25 it won't break the bank. For tiddlies(kids to the unfamiliar)there's the ickle baby baff(a mere 95P),a lavender scented smiley baby blue sun (aggh)that calms and quiets fretful littlies. Well I could go on but this is starting to sound like a catalogue so go find a local shop (there's 25 in Great Britain and another 30+ worldwide) or check out the website www.lush.co.uk.If you have a shop near you you'll find the staff very help
ful and they have a wide range of knowledge of the various benefits of the essential oils in the products(well they are in Leeds anyway)I can't comment on the site much as I've never ordered from it but I think that delivery is £3.00 of free if over £25.00.You can shoot me if i'm wrong.
