Advantages: Smells really great, Products Work, kind to animals

Disadvantages: Sodium Laurel Sulfate

You can always tell when someone shops at lush, they will smell of coconuts one day, patchouli the next and bananas or even chocolate the next time. Lush make all sorts of bathroom products - shampoo, soap, bath bombs/melts/bars, facial cleansers, moisturisers, masks and even massage bars. All their products are made with the most natural ingredients they can get and many are so fresh they have to be kept in the fridge!(not so good for midnight feasters, make sure your fridge light is working if you don't want a mouthful of facepack!) Lush also avoid any ingredient that has any association with animal testing. So all round good eggs you could say!

Not living near a shop, I order my products on-line: www.lush.co.uk, or through the catalogue: Lush Times. They never take more than a few days to arive and I've never been dissapointed with a product yet. The parcels alway remind me of the lucky dips you used to have at fetes - huge big boxes of shredded paper that you have to dig through to find the prizes!

Speaking of the catalogue, it's almost worth ordering from them just to get one! It's done like a newspaper with quotes, drawings and humour from the customers as well as then Lush staff. I read mine cover to cover! (Sad I know!)

My only bug-bear with Lush is that they tend to use Sodium Laurel Sulfate instead of Ammonium Sulfate which is the more acne friendly alternative, but you can't have everything! I'll continue to order from them because I love sitting quietly at my desk at work while people walking past wrinkle their noses and say "Can anyone smell coconut?".
