Advantages: great products, good range, very unusual
Disadvantages: expensive
Let me begin by telling you 'I am a bloke', and I love this stuff.
All men should, in my opinion, pounce on this stuff. The range is completely uni-sex.
I love this shop for the no nonsense products they supply. There is not a branded fluffy soap bar to be found. Each and every item is layed out in both product and ingredient. Feel free to both touch smell and inspect the very item you wish to purchase, most can be cut fresh from the block.
If you like your soaps and suds lightly scented, the fruity and light range is probably for you. If you want to really change your cleaning regime, then the more powerful herbal and heavy ranges will rock yor bath time.
The range is all on tables, not packed in green containers with the shop name plastered in green for all of vanity. After selection, the item is weighed, priced and wrapped in paper, just like the old days.
The prices are a little higher than the normal super-market brands, however a lot of the products last for a decent time. The price also assures the customer that the goods have not been tested on animals and contains only the purest of products.
I would recommend, when buying soaps, that the softer bars of soap do not last a long time, whereas the firm bars last an eternity.
My particiular favourites are :
'Devil in the dark' soap bar, which beats you awake with smells of mint and menthol (try this when you cant get up in the morning)
'Buffy the but slayer' this exfoliating bar really gets rid of the old skin and leaves the whole body feeling super clean.
For all you lads who dont like feminine soaps and cleansers, you are in for a shock!
At lush the products have 'tough' in mind, most of there products have rough ingredients like sea weed and all sorts of forest scrub.
