Advantages: long lasting, very extensive ranges, quite widely available

Disadvantages: so many colours it's hard to choose!

I am a bit of a make-up fan and whenever a new product is advertised on TV I am sucked in and have to try it. I also don't mind spending a lot of money on make-up as I feel it can make or break an image/look you're trying to acheive.

I have a friend with very dark skin and she uses the MAC range, she reccommended them to me but I thought 'my skin tone is so different to hers that it won't look the same'...wrong. MAC has a full range of make-up and soooo many colours that every skin tone is bound to find soemthing to suit.

I wanted a new foundation that was both a cream and powder in one in a mirrored compact but i was unsure of the coulor to get (my skin tone changes depending on whether I've been tanning or not!). So I asked the MAC assisstant and she tried a few on me and reccommended one. Ok, its £22 but well worth it as it covers well but doesn't look really obvious and it lasts all day. The make is MAC studio tech foundation. They have so many different types of every kind of make-up such as 4 different kinds of eyeshadow, about 10 different kinds of base/ foundation etc with masses of different colours subtle and bright.

If you are unsure of anything like what colour to buy or which type of foundation to get just ask a MAC assisstant, they love it, they are really helpful and will probably try to give you a make-over! They're staff are friendly but do not pressure you into buying anything.

MAC is the ultimate make-up, you pay for what you get.
