It is my birthday today and one of the presents I got was the new Fruit Jelly Lip Gloss from Maybelline. I loved the look of the Lancome Juicy Tubes but then saw Maybelline were doing a version like it so I asked someone to get me it and I got it. There are about 5 different flavours, well shades but named after flavours. I got the strawberry flavour which smells like it and it's really fruity.

To apply it you can either use a lip brush or your finger and you only need a little. It is quite thick and sticky but once it is applied properly it gives a nice glossy look and the colour really makes lips look fuller. The strawberry colour I used was subtle and didn't give a bright pink look but just nice pink with a nice shine.

The packaging of the Fruit Jelly Lip Gloss is simple but really nice. It is in a small tube with a curved lid. The logo is simple writing in metallic silver and with a thick silver top round it and maybelline's logo in it. The lip gloss is not too expensive, since it was a present I don't want to ask the price but I am sure t's only £4 or £5.

This is another great invention from Maybelline, the brand that makes great cosmetics at an affordable price. They have done a lot of lip cosmetics recently but this is one of the best. It is easy to carry around anywhere you want it can even fit in your pocket. It lasts for about 2 drinks if you're lucky which isn't bad if you don't have to pay lots of money for it. It stays for a good amount of time and you can always apply it again.

A great buy and definitely worth the money.
