Disadvantages: Doesn't quite last 8 hours!

I was flicking through Cosmopolitan and stopped dead on a glossy, shiny double page advert for EverFresh, Maybelline's latest foundation. I admit, it was probably the model that made me run out to Boots and buy it. A flawless Erin Wasson dominated the whole page, alongside a cute silver tube with clear patches so that the foundation showed through. Cute packaging! I had to have it.

Before school, I squirted a blob onto the back of my hand and mixed in with my moisturiser. I applied a few dots on my cheeks, forehead and chin to even out my skintone and minimise my freckles. I used my finger, as the warmth helps it glide on better than a brush does. I have this weird fear of visible foundation and armed with a mirror, and I tested it under; natural light (by a window), normal light (in my front room), harsh strip lighting (downstairs toilet) and dark lighting (curtains closed lol) and each time it was undetectable.

I have sensitive skin, and this didn't irritate it at all, which is a feat in itself! It leaves a matte natural finish, with medium coverage, and it DOES live up to the EverFresh title. It lasted me throughout that schoolday, even through a sweaty PE lesson and a rainy lunchtime outside in the cold. At £6.49 for 38ml, it's as good as the more expensive ones, and it's good if you're strapped for cash. I love it.
