Advantages: cheap - all products under £2, Quite a large range of colours, good mascara

Disadvantages: eye gloss creases after a while, Can only be bought from Superdrugs and a few chemists

Now, as some of you may know, I am only young, which means I have to survive on pocket money. That's why I use the Miss Sporty make-up range, which can be found on make-up counters at Superdrugs stores. Each item is under £2, which is great if you, like me, are on a budget.

The Miss Sporty range contains:
mascara (£1.99), face powder (1.99), blusher (1.99), eyegloss (1.59), lipgloss (1.49), nail varnish (1.29), eyeshadow (1.29), and concealer.

So far, the products in the Miss Sporty range which I have tried are:

MASCARA - I am a big fan of the Miss Sporty mascaras. I have used the xxvolume and xxlong mascaras from the range, and I have been really pleased with the results. The xxvolume mascara thickens your lashes, making them look fuller. The xxlong mascara makes lashes noticably longer and also seperates them for a no-clump look. Both mascaras are available in black and cocoa (dark brown).

EYESHADOW - These are available in a wide range of shades from blues to pinks to browns. They are small, circular pots filled with long-lasting, silky smooth eyeshadow.

NAIL VARNISH - Again, these are available in a wide range of colours. The bottle says they are long lasting, but I find they chip after a day or two. Miss Sporty nail varnishes are also available in quick-dry.

EYEGLOSS - This is quite a popular product among my friends and other Dooyoo members who have written an opinion on this product, and I agree that they look nice ahile they last, but by the end of the day, they crease and fade. They come in the same size and shaped pots as the lipgloss and eyeshadow.


-The Miss Sporty packaging is quite simple - white writing on a royal blue background.
-The Miss Sporty range of make-up is made by Coty, who also make Maybeline products.

Overall, the Miss Sporty products are good for those who want cheap makeup, so they are good for teens or those who are experimenting with make
up. People who want long-lasting, high quality make-up, however, may want to try another brand, but I would reccommend the xxlong mascara to anyone, as it is really effective.
