Advantages: Cheap, Lots of different colours

Miss Sporty is a make-up range aimed mainly at teenagers, available from Superdrug. The prices are very cheap - nothing is over £2 and COTY, if I remembered correctly made products for Maybelline, which I use a lot of, so I thought I'd have a look.

There are lipsticks, eyeshadows, eye-glosses, concealers and eye pencils, which are all relatively cheap. The packaging is simple - a translucent blue case with white letters. If you don't mind how it looks in your make-up bag then this shouldn't really be a problem, but if you like cute packaging then you'll be disappointed! Here are the products I tried:


Lipsticks: There are a wide range of colours and glided on smoothly, lasted me a good few hours but the case wasn't hard wearing and broke quite quickly.

Eyeliners: Again, lots of different colour choices. The pencils have a bit of slip to them so it doesn't drag your skin but it isn't greasy either. Lasted me an hour at the most, without rubbing or any crying! They're quite good but the lasting power lets it down.

Concealer: Very basic. Comes in an ugly white tube in a lipstick format and there are only three shades to choose from. Very hard to blend in, looked unnatural, so save your money.

Eyegloss: These were very easy to apply and were very glossy and gave lots of shine but creased after a while. Looked good while it lasted though!


If you're counting the pennies but want at least a bit of quality then Miss Sporty is for you. It's not a bad range, I've seen worse, but for me I'm sticking with Maybelline!

Summary:
